Butterfield’s 2025 Scholarship And Summer Internship Open For Applications
George Town, Grand Cayman —06 February 2025: Butterfield’s 2025 Undergraduate Scholarship and paid Summer Internship programme are now open for applications.
The Cayman Islands Undergraduate Scholarship awards US$30,000 to an outstanding student who is pursuing an undergraduate degree and has an interest in financial services. The scholarship is tenable for up to four years with an opportunity to work at Butterfield during the holidays and after graduation if a suitable role exists.
The criteria for selection includes academic excellence, community involvement and sporting attainments, and a candidate’s demonstrated ability to lead. Eligible students are invited to submit a completed application form before the end of March, available via Butterfield’s website https://www.butterfieldgroup.com/careers/scholarships.
The 2025 Summer Internship programme, scheduled to run between June and August, will see interns gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry and work alongside seasoned professionals in their fields. During their time, they will undergo formal training, contribute to meaningful projects and enjoy a close mentoring relationship.
Summer internship applicants should be enrolled full-time in university or college with an interest in financial services. Eligible students can apply online here.
